Last year was a big year for both myself and Scitech - as I celebrated my 10 year milestone as Scitech's CEO. The award-winning outreach division had another strong year of tours and launched their Early Childhood and Technology programs.
Our adult events were also popular with 'Scitech After Dark' and 'Profs and Pints' satisfying older audiences' taste for science knowledge.
Congratulations to the Scitech workshop staff who were busy designing and building the fantastic 'Playing with Light' exhibition. This is currently inspiring visitors with its amazing visual light experiences.
2011 is the International Year of Chemistry and I can't wait to reveal the sciencey goodness we have planned in celebration. Happy New Year!
