My partner and I have just returned from a ten week holiday which included a tour through Egypt; a 300km walk across Great Britain and an 18 day adventure on the Trans Siberian Railway from Moscow to Beijing.
While travelling through Mongolia I managed to sneak in a visit to the International Intellectual Museum which features many rare exhibits, including over 200 different Mongolian puzzle chess sets and a ‘Puzzle Spaceship’ composed of 673 interlocking wooden pieces that requires 5000 locking tricks to complete!
However, back at work it is clear you don’t have to travel across the globe to be enlightened and inspired. After a quick visit to Scitech’s workshop to check out the upcoming Playing with Light exhibition, I was amazed at the craftsmanship, innovative designs and creativity shown by our team.
I’m excited by the ideas being developed and I can’t wait until I can officially open the exhibition in November.
