Scitech’s Professional Learning workshops are designed to make science teaching easier.
Our workshops – which are now aligned with the new Australian Curriculum - give you the opportunity to explore science concepts in detail and provide you with hands on and interactive ideas that you can use in your classroom straight away.
The Professional Learning team will support you to create and implement engaging science programs; a comprehensive resource of practical classroom materials is provided at every workshop.
The team is available to visit any school across Western Australia, wherever you are and whatever your professional learning needs may be – we are here to help.

Teacher Drop-In – keep primary science strong!
With so much going on at school we can often forget how important and valuable it is to engage with our colleagues and peers. Join us at Scitech for our new Teacher Drop-In sessions where you can relax, listen to a great speaker and, most importantly, catch up with other primary science teachers. It’s a great opportunity to exchange ideas, gather new resources and find out what’s happening in other schools. So come and network over a cuppa.
We’d love to see you.
Watch this space for details of sessions in the 2012 school year.

Best practice downloading instructions: When downloading files from links on the internet, you will find the easiest way to save a file is to right-click on the link and choose "Save As..." or "Save Link As..." from the menu that appears, and then choose a place on your computer to save the file.
This is easier than clicking on the file and running it directly from a website, as some files can crash web browser software due to their size or type, and temporarily slow down your machine.
Our Mission is to increase interest and participation in science and technology
