Horizon - the Planetarium is powered by the latest multi-media technology, a surround-sound system and high definition projectors. The expansive foyer is also available for pre or post function networking and catering service.
The Planetarium (180 seats) and foyer are available together or separately for exclusive hire from 7:00am to 10:30am or after 3:00pm.
Horizon venue hire includes:
- Exclusive use of the 180-seat dome screen theatre and foyer
- AV equipment including laptop, microphone and lectern
- A Horizon presenter to assist with AV requirements and welcome your guests
Entertainment
Guests can be entertained with a private screening of one of our amazing space shows or live astronomy presentations. They will be stunned by the technology and the beauty of the experience of Horizon - the Planetarium - the only one of its kind in the southern hemisphere. Presentation facilities are also available.
