Andrew HannahAndrew studied chemistry, physics and maths at Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand, followed by a Diploma of Teaching from the Wellington College of Education.

After working in various science and education roles he joined Scitech and has now been here for 12 years.

Denham DunstallAs head of the workshop team Denham is responsible for the design and fabrication of Scitech's exhibits and exhibitions.

In this role, he advises on the technical content of exhibits and helps assess the best way to deliver the underlying message to our visitors.

SNWA_Simon_Carroll_webSimon graduated as a microbiologist and holds a PhD in medical science and a Masters of Business Administration. Many years of activity in biomedical research and in the biotechnology industry in CSIRO, universities and companies has led him to being the Director of Science Partnerships.

Gary FoxtonGary has a Bachelor of Business from Curtin University of Technology and is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA). Prior to joining Scitech, he held the position of Regional Accountant with the Australian Wool Corporation and has held many other senior financial positions.

Kate_Elder_Oct_10_low_res_webKate has an Honours Degree in English Literature and a Masters in Video Production, and spent many years weaving her way through a wide variety of roles in television, film and radio production before moving into corporate communications.

As the Director of Communications and Marketing, Kate is responsible for increasing the visitation to Scitech, both at City West and through the extensive outreach programs operating in regional and remote areas. Kate leads a dynamic and talented team who are responsible for media, public relations, three websites, marketing, schools liaison and stakeholder relationships.

Nick_Wood_Oct_10_webNick's role involves managing Scitech’s Outreach programs including; Science, Astronomy, DIY Science, Early Childhood, Technology, Maths, Aboriginal Education and Beyond the Beaker (Science Careers) programs.

This complex and diverse segment of the business delivers high quality science education to the community as well as regional and remote parts of Western Australia.

Sarah BuggSarah has a Bachelor of Science Degree (Honours), a Graduate Diploma of Science Communication and a Graduate Diploma of Education.

She coordinates the exhibit and exhibition building program for Scitech, as well as managing the Board and Executive team. Her main role is to ensure the scientific content of each exhibit marries with the exhibit function and visitor use.

The 12 members work together to support and develop Scitech's mission.

David Joyce has been with the Rio Tinto group since 2004, where he joined the iron ore product group to manage the delivery of a number of projects. David has worked in Australia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and the United States, across a range of commodities.
