Horizon – the Planetarium is an indoor theatre that presents high tech multi-media shows about our night sky, the solar system and beyond. The digital projection system accurately displays stars, planets and other celestial bodies on its dome screen, allowing you to journey through space without ever leaving your seat.
Visit Horizon – the Planetarium for an out-of-this-world experience, where students see space like never before. Explore the vast scales and sizes in space and ponder the big questions about our Universe.
Horizon live(20 minutes) As part of every Horizon - the Planetarium show, Horizon’s expert presenters take you on a guided tour through the stars, planets and current astronomical events in the night sky. Visit neighbouring planets, observe Moon phases or catch a ride with a comet, as we take an amazing live journey into space. |
