AEP_webSpecifically developed to increase interest and participation by Aboriginal Western Australians in science and technology, the Aboriginal Education Program (AEP) creates accessible and culturally relevant science programs for Aboriginal students, their teachers and AIEOs.

AEP Professional Learning reaches schools from Metropolitan Perth to the most remote communities in Western Australia. Regional tours visit the Midwest, Goldfields, Kimberley and Pilbara regions and run on a two-yearly basis.

Metropolitan support is available for any school with indigenous students. We have culturally relevant conceptual workshops which can be tailored to your school needs.

Workshops include:

Primary Connections with Indigenous Perspectives
Chemical Sciences with Indigenous Perspectives
2 hour workshops cost $275

Classroom modelling:

Using our Scitech investigation planners specifically designed for use with Aboriginal students, our consultants will visit your classroom and support you through a structured science investigation lesson.
Each session costs $50. Schools that have booked a Professional Learning workshop held at the school are entitled to 3 FREE sessions.
