CSIRO_LABScitech’s Science After School offers interactive science workshops after school and during holiday periods.

We are available to visit schools, libraries, after
school care centres and other community groups.
Each session lasts for one hour and can be held at your
venue or here at Scitech.

We run a variety of programs including:

The Science of Dr Seuss (ages 6-8) - A reading of a classic Dr Seuss story followed by a hands-on science activity related to the story.

Monstrous science (ages 9-12) - Learn the terrifying true science behind classic monsters such as vampires, mummies and zombies.

Roboclub (ages 9-12) - Explore the world of robotics and programming using LEGO® NXT robots.

Serious science (ages 13-17) - Aimed at older participants, Serious science covers areas such as microbiology and dissection.

We recommend booking at least two to three months ahead to avoid disappointment.
