We’re pleased to say that the Science Centre will reopen from 10am this Saturday, 1 May.
The following measures will be in place to safeguard the health of our community, in line with the WA Government’s current COVID-19 advice for the Perth metropolitan area:
- All staff and visitors over the age of 12 will be required to wear masks (exemptions for those with a medical reason).
- All visitors will need to sign in using the SafeWA app.
- The Science Theatre and Planetarium will have spacing measures to allow staff to present without masks.
- Science Centre capacity will return to pre-lockdown levels, with the two square metre rule in place.
With the health and safety of our staff, local community and partners our number one priority, we will continue to monitor the situation closely taking advice from local health authorities in response to the changing landscape of the pandemic in WA.
