Team up with other regional and remote schools across the state to submit important weather data to Scitech for a whole term! You will receive a four items of equipment you can use at your school; these measure your local minimum and maximum temperature, rainfall, wind direction and cloud types.
Also included are plenty of teaching resources to inspire your students to understand why weather forecasting is so important, enhancing their Science as a Human Endeavour studies, and opportunities to develop Science Inquiry Skills.
You will also have the chance to have your school name and your weather data reported on your local GWN7 weather report once a week for the whole term! The equipment and resources are also yours to keep after the term has finished.
