Unravel the unexpected in the new ‘Mystery Hunters’ science show. Work together to “code” a human in the Exactly Right challenge. Help a cat and mouse find a way to live together in harmony in ‘Quiet as a Mouse’. Follow astronomers from around the globe, as they decipher the code of starlight in the planetarium. Plus, there’s heaps of workshops, coding and more!
There’s something for everyone at Scitech these school holidays, with doors open from 9am daily (usually 9.30am).

In this challenge, the audience works together to "program” the presenter to complete an activity, like making breakfast or riding a scooter. Can your instructions be exactly right and lead them to success?
Coding is something everyone can do! You can even learn the basics of coding without a computer. Introduce algorithms with this hands-on unplugged coding activity for kids.
What is a young, energetic mouse to do when they want to be the best percussionist in the world, but the household cat hates loud noise? Experiment, of course! Explore a concept most children will relate to – having to be quiet sometimes - in this puppet show. Join us to explore how to understand a problem, and find ways to solve it, as we help our cat and mouse find a way to live together in harmony.
This show is suitable for ages 3-7 and goes for 25 minutes.
Do you know what an astronomer does? Today’s astronomer is not the lone observer of past centuries. We Are Astronomers follows astronomers from around the globe as they work together, endeavouring to answer the unresolved questions of the stars by using incredible scientific technology.
This show is suitable for ages 4+ and goes for 45 minutes.
Take off and move through space, passing satellites, the international space station and asteroids along the way.
This 10-minute immersive show has been created for children under 4 years old and their families.
