Thank you to those involved in this year’s Science Cafe, for information about the event please contact us here.
Science Café is a National Science Week event where Year 10 students are invited to network with STEM professionals and tertiary students over morning and afternoon tea to gain practical knowledge about STEM careers and pathways. Over 60 STEM professionals will attend, representing various disciplines from universities, government, and industry.
Students will have the unique opportunity to speak one-on-one with STEM professionals to get inspired and informed about the variety of opportunities within STEM careers and will have the chance to speak with STEM undergraduate students to learn about university life and pathways to university. Between networking sessions, the students will hear from inspiring STEM role models via a series of short keynote talks.
Science Café is coordinated by Scitech, in partnership with The University of Western Australia.
