Forensic Crime Fighting
This unique and highly involving exhibition takes visitors through the process of solving crime using forensic science and technology.
Visitors gather evidence from exhibits and follow the jigsaw-like process of piecing together the crime scenario. This process allows visitors to explore such techniques as paper chromatography, forensic phonetics, fingerprint identification, DNA profiling and ballistic identification among others.
The content of this exhibition was carefully developed through consultation with a range of organisations to ensure scientific accuracy and age appropriateness for young children. This includes the Western Australian Police Service who provided pivotal feedback in the early stages of developing the exhibition’s content.
