Looking to expand your students’ love for Space? Then check out DIY Telescopes!
Our DIY Telescopes program provides you with two Celestron CPC Series telescopes for three weeks to explore the ever-changing night sky. With full set-up instructions, a built-in telescope computer and an astronomy almanac, they make star-gazing easy and fun – even for the beginner.
With a built-in database of 40,000 objects, the telescope’s internal GPS receiver can pinpoint its exact location on earth and locate famous deep-sky objects from a few button presses.
Set your sights on Mars and see its polo icecaps; watch Jupiter’s big red spot and its wild storm systems; or look for Cassini’s Division in the rings of Saturn – all from the comfort of your nearest park or oval!
And if you’re a school outside of Perth’s metro area, there’s also free delivery and collection options available.
Supported by Rio Tinto, our DIY Telescopes are a great way to get amongst the stars!
