After Dark 2023
Join us for After Dark, Scitech’s adults-only event!
In partnership with Nexperium, Scitech is providing an exciting opportunity to take part in a collaborative STEM workshop, alongside students based in the South Korean city of Daejeon.
This four-hour workshop is a fun, interactive experience which gives young people aged 10-12, who are interested in STEM, the chance to join forces and create innovative solutions to global problems.
Participants will work in teams to learn about the lives of young people in Daejeon, share their unique experiences of Perth and collectively develop new ideas to address real-life problems faced by populations in each city. They will be guided through the design process by Scitech and Nexperium facilitators to develop and build prototypes that represent their thinking. All teams will share their ideas at the conclusion of the workshop and discuss how these potential solutions could change the city they call home.
