The special Telethon Kids Discovery Centre x Scitech workshops run for 1 hour and costs $20 per child ($15 for Scitech members), with sessions suitable for junior scientists of various ages. Each ticket includes single child entry to Scitech, which you can explore after the workshop. Meet the researchers from Telethon Kids Institute and ignite the love of science by booking one, or more, tickets to the interactive workshops.
Take a moment to look after yourself and your brain in this workshop on self-care. Identify the things that can deplete your battery and learn about strategies you could use to fill it up again to give you the energy you need to live your day. Make a special Grounding Box full of your favourite things, which you can take home at the end of the workshop. You’ll also get to make a pocket-sized calming glitter jar to help with relaxation and mindfulness. Suitable for ages 5 – 9 years old.
