If you’re a primary school teacher keen to increase your science confidence, this open lab will no doubt help inspire you to set up an effective lab space of your own.
Perfect for science-curious educators with a desire to level up, it’s also a chance for would-be science teachers to explore becoming specialists. For those who are already STEM champions, this intensive hands-on session is an opportunity to share your knowledge and passion for enriching science and STEM learning for your students.
You will be provided with diverse resources and practical support as you network with like-minded teachers to enhance your capabilities.
In this open lab, join us for a choose-your-own-adventure session at Joondalup Primary School, led by Narelle Phillips.
Look at Science vs Maker Space whole school planning, grant opportunities, accessing great resources including local networks, or visit the Garden of Weedin for greenhouse ideas, worm farming and contributions to the Perth Royal and Wanneroo Shows.
Narelle also runs lunchtime and after school activities and produces Science Newsletters – ask her how!
