Image Research to design an aircraft

You can be an inventor in the Scitech Lab to find out about the four fundamental forces of flight and see how they apply to rockets, planes and other aircraft. This creative session will test your design skills before building a wooden glider to sail across the skies!

Take it home to modify for even better flight capabilities, then show it off to your friends and family.

How can we be more sustainable with food, water and energy at our schools and in our community? 🌱💧💡 Secondary students from across Perth have been tackling this challenge throughout the year, as part of the @shellaustralia NXplorers Program, delivered by Scitech. Last week they showcased their impressive solutions, from organising beach clean ups to designing their own biodegradable packaging. . Through the program, these young bright minds have learnt how STEM skills relate practically to their world and can be used to create relevant, positive solutions.
