Please note bookings for Term 4, 2023 have now closed. Bookings for Term 1, 2024 will close at the end of week 8, Term 4 (Friday 1st December 2023). After this date, we can only accept bookings for Term 2, 2024.
You don’t have to be a science whizz to use our DIY Science Kits. They’ve been designed to enable teachers of any science capability to teach up to 8 weeks’ worth of themed lessons, experiments and investigations around a particular topic.
- The kits are user friendly, and are designed to support teachers in the delivery of the science curriculum. They cover the four science strands: Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Earth & Space Sciences, and Physical Sciences.
- Each science kit contains the required equipment, resources and lesson instructions for Foundations – 6.
- The content covers up to 8 weeks’ worth of lesson planning.
- The teacher resource books, worksheets and investigation planners will be available to you electronically, and they are free for you to keep on your own device even after your kit hire has finished.
DIY kits are available for hire by registered Western Australian schools for use solely within and by the staff at the hiring school.
