Scitech is a not-for-profit organisation proudly supported by the Western Australian Government through the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation
Scitech’s Science Centre is an exciting birthday party venue in Perth, suitable for children aged 4 to 12 years.
Scitech Children’s Birthday Parties include:
- Two entertaining Scitech Party Hosts and private party room hire.
- Total party duration is 1.5 hours, plus unlimited free time in the Science Centre before and after your party during opening hours.
- A hands-on science activity for every guest.
- VIP seating for a Science Theatre Show or Puppet Show.
- A free $10 Scitech Discovery Shop gift voucher for the birthday child.
- Digital or physical Scitech birthday invitations.
- Free entry to Scitech for one adult per invited child.
- Additional Adult entry tickets can be purchased at the reduced price of $12.
- Access to Scitech’s City Views Eating Area for use before or after the party.
- Partyware including tables, tablecloths, plates, cups and cake*.
- A personalised birthday certificate for the birthday child.
Kids Birthday Parties are held on Saturdays and Sundays only.
There are three available time slots:
- 9.50am – 11.20am
- 11.50am – 1.20pm
- 2.20pm – 3.50pm
Birthday Party structure
- Greet and welcoming (10 minutes)
- Science Theatre show or Puppet Theatre show (30 minutes)
- Group science challenge led by Scitech Party Hosts (20 minutes)
- Guided science activity with each child receiving an individual take-home product (15 minutes)
- Presentation of the birthday certificate and eating of the birthday cake* (15 minutes)
*Scitech can provide a Neapolitan Ice Cream Cake for an additional $15. Alternatively, you can provide your own cake for no additional charge.

Birthday Venue Hire Pricing
$25 per child.
We have a minimum booking of 15 children. And can cater for a maximum of 20 children.
Additional adults, youth and children at Child Entry ticket price ($12). Note that additional children and youth are not included in the Birthday Party activities.
When booking a party for a Scitech Child Member, you’ll receive a 10% discount.
Please note a $100 non-refundable deposit is payable at the time of booking.
