‘World Bee Day’ celebrates our hard-working little pollinators on 20 May. At Scitech, we’ll be celebrating on 24 May, exploring why bees are so important to the planet, and how they help keep ecosystems thriving.

Join Damian Green, founder of Bee Central WA, for a buzzing presentation at the Discovery Centre. Discover the fascinating world of bees, from pollen and nectar to honey tasting. If you’re curious about these incredible pollinators, make a beeline to Scitech!

Buzz on over to see the Scitech Bees! Their custom-designed hive features a special internal box for their home, a waste disposal area, and even heating to keep things at a bee-utiful 35 degrees Celsius, just the way they like it. See if you can find the queen bee and try out your best bee waggle dance!
