Think: Build your own flying machine

• Follow instructions to build a basic paper helicopter. Then challenge yourself to think of creative ways to change it.
• Use different materials, add extra parts or completely rethink the design and see what happens.

Create: Soundscape  

• Using objects found around the home, create the sound effects for a video animation.
• Experiment with sounds by using items in creative ways and collaborate with friends and family to have even more fun.

Share: Exploring and Reporting

• An important part of being a scientist is sharing your discoveries.
• Head outside and go exploring for unusual and interesting creepy crawlies. Photograph your new friends to share at home.
• Investigate the differences between the insects. Take your favourite parts and draw your own creation.
