Excursion Structure and Pricing

A standard excursion costs $12 per student (GST free).

Extras (Only one) can be added on for an additional cost.

Facilitated Feature Exhibition – $3 per student
Facilitated Discoverland – $3 per student
Facilitated activity at the Scitech Lab – $5 per student
Facilitated activity at Rio Tinto Innovation Central – $5 per student

Get hands-on with STEM careers through an exciting full-day, in-person excursion at Scitech! Students will solve real-world engineering challenges, explore space in the planetarium, and dive into interactive exhibits, all designed to spark curiosity and career aspirations in STEM.

Future Makers is proudly delivered by Scitech and fully funded through the School Pathways Program, making it completely free for Western Australian secondary schools (Years 7-12) in Terms 3-4, 2025, and Term 1, 2026.

We understand the unique challenges regional schools face in accessing hands-on STEM experiences, so we’re inviting your students to explore Scitech at no cost on weekdays (Monday to Friday) between 2-4pm during WA school terms.
