Future Makers - 2025
Scitech’s Future Makers is all about getting young Western Australians excited about how science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) skills are shaping the future of the defence industry.
Through hands-on workshops, STEM challenges and career fairs, students will see how their skills can solve real-world problems and open doors to awesome careers.
Mission: SPACE
Scitech invites educators to participate in the free program, Mission: SPACE, for Australian primary schools. Through hands-on student challenges, professional learning for teachers and exposure to space industry professionals, students will discover what it takes to get humans to space.
This program is funded by the Australian Space Agency,
STEM Club
STEM Club is an intensive multi-week after-school program for students in years 4-6. Participants dive deep into STEM concepts through imaginative hands-on projects such as designing and building a rubber band car, coding and constructing an animatronic figure, and building and modifying a gravity-defying glider.
DIY Science Kits
DIY Science Kits have everything you need to conduct up to 8 weeks’ worth of science lessons, experiments and investigations in your classroom. Bring the Scitech WOW to every classroom in WA, from schools in the Perth Metro area to regional WA communities.
Schools' Access Program
Inspiring the next wave of engineers, biologists, or computer scientists – this program is a great vehicle for doing just that.
Schools' Weather Wall
A chance for students to submit important weather data, which will then feature on their local 7 News Regional WA weather report. Fame at last!
National Science Week
Ready, set: science. National Science Week puts Australia at the front of the science and technology race with this national event.
