Using my membership

Yes, this is one of the best things about being a Scitech member. Not only do you have access to Scitech, you also gain access to other science centres in Australia.

If you are travelling overseas, you have access to reciprocal benefits at over 200 Science Centres and Museums worldwide through the ASTC passport program (www.ASTC.org/passport/). Learn more.

As if being a member wasn’t benefit enough, we like to give you money off, too. Your membership includes:

10% discount at The Discovery Shop
10% discount for selected workshops
10% off selected events, including Adults Only 18+ events
10% discount for Children's Birthday Parties

Be sure to have your membership card or membership number ready to redeem these discounts.

Generally, we communicate to the primary contact person on the membership by mail and email. We’ll email a regular newsletter as well as special member-only invites letting you know about free or discounted tickets for specific events or workshops. Membership renewals are sent in the post, so keep your eye on your inbox when you know your annual renewal is coming up. Check the What’s On page for events with member discounts. They happen throughout the year.
