Our Aboriginal Education Program (AEP) DIY Science Kits have been developed with a cultural awareness of the people and landscapes of our regional and remote Aboriginal communities.
We believe all children should have the opportunity to be inspired and excited about Science. It’s why we are passionate about providing teachers in remote communities with everything they need to run informative and engaging science lessons.
Through support from the WA Government and Rio Tinto, our easy-to-use kits have been designed to enable teachers of any science capability to teach up to 8 weeks’ worth of themed lessons, experiments and investigations around a particular topic.
The kits are designed to help educators inspire children to learn about Science, and the huge influence it has on the world around them.
By making these resources available to people on country, we’re taking Scitech to some of WA’s most breathtaking and remote locations.
DIY kits are available for hire by registered Western Australian schools for use solely within and by the staff at the hiring school.
