Looking for a great way to bring the stars down to Earth?
Our DIY Telescopes Kit provides you with two Celestron CPC Series telescopes for three weeks to explore the ever-changing night sky. With full set-up instructions, a built-in telescope computer and an astronomy almanac, they make star-gazing easy and fun – even for the beginner.
With a built-in database of 40,000 objects, the telescope’s internal GPS receiver can pinpoint its exact location on Earth and locate famous deep-sky objects from a few button presses.
Set your sights on Mars and see its polar ice caps; look for Jupiter’s big red spot and its wild storm systems; or look for Cassini’s Division in the rings of Saturn – all from the comfort of your nearest park or oval!
Supported by Rio Tinto, our DIY Telescopes are a great way to get amongst the stars!
DIY kits are available for hire by registered Western Australian schools for use solely within and by the staff at the hiring school.
