Science Through Discovery
and Exploration

Looking for new ways to engage your students in science classes? This hands-on workshop will help you inspire your students and drive their curiosity.

You have reached the main content region of the page.

Students can sometimes misunderstand the concepts behind an experiment in the classroom. Whether it’s from a text book or a set of instructions, there are ways to make even the most routine experiment engaging and thought provoking.

This workshop looks at how to get students to conduct inquiry based practical activities, from formulating their own questions for exploration to really thinking about the ‘what’ and ‘why’ behind science experiments.

This workshop can be tailored to fit one or more of the Science Understanding strands.
