The Alcoa Foundation Champions of Digital Technologies is a fully funded ICT and Digital Technologies program for teachers of Years 2 to 6 in select schools across the Perth Metro and Peel regions.
This long-term digital learning program is the next evolution of the Alcoa Foundation Real World Digital Technologies program and is modelled on the highly successful Alcoa Champions of Maths program.
Teachers enrol in a full year of professional development designed to increase their competency to meaningfully integrate digital learning across all subject areas, enhance student learning opportunities, and support other teachers in the school to do the same.
Teachers who have participated in the short-term program, Alcoa Foundation Real World Digital Technologies (AFRWDT), are likely to be interested in further developing their confidence and competence through the long-term program, however previous participation in AFRWDT is not essential.
If you wish to nominate your school to participate in the Alcoa Foundation Champions of Digital Technologies program in 2026, please complete the form below by the 1st of November 2025.
