After Dark flips the script on your Saturday night! We’re talking cocktail fuelled discussions about galaxies and solar systems. We’re talking an adult only playground where science is the main attraction. We’re talking creating memories you will actually remember for a long time to come.

Some people come for date night. Some come with friends. Some just want an excuse to explore and play without kids around. Whatever your reason, expect a night that brings together nostalgia, curiosity and entertainment in a way you won’t find anywhere else in Perth.

Expect interactive exhibits, immersive experiences, planetarium shows, games, food, drinks and plenty of moments that make you feel like a kid again. This is not your average museum visit. It’s louder, looser and way more fun.

Probably Science by Particle

Two teams. Six People. One hundred kid’s opinions.
“Probably Science” is a live game show where researchers, science communicators and members of the public compete to guess what real Scitech kids answered when we asked them questions about science. So yes… the right answer might not always be the right one…
Throughout the game, contestants tackle science trivia where the obvious answer usually costs them points, and the right guess might earn them prizes!

Face Painting

Get your face painted with glow in the dark paint because… why not?! Get around it!

Beer Goggles

You think you can hold it together after a few drinks? We’ll be the judge of that!
Beer goggles simulate your vision impairment after a few too many drinks. Try to walk a straight line, catch objects in the air and most importantly, provide your friends with loads of entertainment while they watch you struggle! This is a must try!

Voyage of Discovery

Our planetarium shows are always a crowd favourite. This one couldn’t be any different!
Join us in Voyage of Discovery where we will take you on a live show throughout the night sky! Trippy, right? Explore the Universe and re-discover your place in it before lifting off Earth and travelling to the edge of known space!
