🔥 The Perfect Firestorm – Chevron Science Theatre

What’s On – Activities
🗺️ Explore Your World | Feature Exhibition
Undertake a quest across land, sea, and space to explore the role of mapping and navigation in everyday life. Visitors will find the seven ‘quest’ stations to solve puzzles and collect different parts of their own map, which can then be viewed and brought to life through augmented reality.
🏴☠️ Pirates, Chests and Quests
Ahoy! Calling all pirates. Join the crew in the RTIC space where the adventure continues on the high seas. Learn the shady science behind sundials. Get pointers on how to make your own compass. Launch and learn about cannonballs and catapults. Or, maybe carrying chests full of treasure floats your boat. It’s all ‘hands on deck’ as we make piracy ‘science-y.’
🔬 Meet the Scientist Wednesdays
From Pilbara Botanists to Boodjar Biologists. Join us each Wednesday at 12pm in the Grandstand space. Learn from an array of real-life scientists from different walks of life as we adventure, explore and discover what these experts do on a day-to-day basis.
🧪 Pop-up Science
Join us in the Grandstand space throughout the day for a series of short, entertaining, busk-style science presentations.
