Last month our Statewide team visited 10 primary schools in the Great Southern region, with our trusty steed Galaxy (pictured at St Brigid’s Church in Bridgetown). 🚗
At our Future Innovators Event, Year 5 & 6 students tackled a real-world challenge facing local industry: how to repurpose personal protective equipment that can’t be recycled. ⛑️ . Using the innovation process, students worked with Kleenheat mentors to define, prototype and then present their ideas. . This special showcase was an opportunity for students to use the new STEM skills they’ve learnt through our inaugural Kwinana STEM Network program, in partnership with @kleenheat.

These robots can dance, play soccer, escape mazes and perform rescue operations… And they’re designed, built and programmed by West Australian students! 🤖👏 . Despite the challenges of COVID-19 this year, RoboCup Junior WA was able to go ahead this year, supported by @lifeatriotinto. More than 420 students found a way to continue to tinker, build and test their robots in preparation for WA’s longest running robotics competition, showing true resilience and determination – well done everyone! . . . #robocup #robotics #robotdance #robotolympics #stemeducation
