Quantum Girls Music Hackathon

Join the Quantum Girls group from UWA for an exciting journey into the world of quantum science at the Quantum Girls Hackathon!

You have reached the main content region of the page.

Hackathons are designed to spark curiosity, foster innovation, and build a vibrant community of young learners passionate about quantum computing and physics. Whether you’re a beginner or an aspiring quantum expert our hackathons will take your education to the next level and connect you with like-minded peers and mentors. The Quantum Girl’s mission is to make quantum science accessible and engaging by providing hands-on opportunities to explore quantum concepts through codingcollaboration, and creativity.

Hackathons introduce students to the basic concepts of quantum science, quantum computing and inspire curiosity by challenging students with interesting and sometimes mind-bending challenges. Hackathons are design to:

  • Foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem solving skills;
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration; and
  • Cultivate a continuing interest in STEM and its application.

You don’t need to be a science nerd to develop quantum thinking. The hackathons include music, art, drama and stories, as well as quantum coding, quantum science and quantum entrepreneurship.
