Our dynamic Science Communicators present interactive science shows, encouraging curiosity through a variety of topics with lively demonstrations, stimulating stories, connecting our visitors the significance of science in their world.

All shows address the Western Australian Curriculum outcomes – Science Understanding, Science as a Human Endeavour, and Science Inquiry Skills – and adjust content and delivery for specific year groups (from Year 2 – 12).

From explosive fire-balls to surprising chemical reactions, through to the wonders of UV and of laser light, the Things That Glow Show will shine a light on brilliant Western Australian science.

Burning, Melting, Saving illustrates how scientific understanding is continually evolving. Science is about solving problems and making improvements, and this show exemplifies how these skills can be applied to improve our world.

Maths + Explosions | Term 1 and 4

Power Trip | Term 3 and 4
You don't need to understand energy to use it, but the more you know the more you can do. Power Trip uses spectacular demonstrations to enable the observation and measurement of energy in action and question how we can use it better.
